About

I see smart men and women who are ready to make a powerful commitment to their own healing and evolution. Therapy is an important collaboration for those who are ready and willing to dive in and learn new ways to be with themselves, no matter what is going on circumstantially (eg. relationship conflicts, depression, anxiety, alcohol/drug/gambling use disorder, health issues, transitions, etc). I am both a deep listener and proactive guide and advocate so that together we can free your wise-self to shine! Of note, I was voted as one of the areas' best therapists in the Washingtonian Magazine.

I have an active engaged style and use evidence-based therapy to keep our sessions on track. I incorporate my knowledge gained from 30+ years of therapy & training, raising three adult children, my marriage & upbringing, workshop leader and author of "How to Manage Your Depression with Exercise" into our sessions. I developed the program www.PsychFitInc.com

You will get feedback and teaching tools for shifting your inner and outer realities at each session. My office is a confidential space where you can work on your relationship with yourself, which has a ripple-effect into all other relationships. I will teach you to listen to your body, feel your heart and train your mind to be your wise advocate and ally.
