At one time or another, you may have considered therapy while undergoing stress; in a lonely place; or overwhelmed with life. Taking the first step to contact a therapist for support takes great faith in yourself to reach out and make that first appointment. In your first appointment with me you will find a good listener who understands and has compassion for your story. As you share your story you may find relief being heard, seen, and understood. If so, we schedule more appointments to uncover the issues, behaviors, and feelings in your story. Trust builds, and with that, you begin to find a path inward to self understanding. I bring my 15 years of experience as a professional counselor, along with my years of experience as an educator to guide you on your path inward unraveling hurts, fears and joys. For some, you may seek a deeper kind of therapy beyond talk therapy called depth therapy. The unconscious or “soul” is explored through dreams, images, and symbols. Taking time out for yourself is vital in these uncertain times. Giving yourself this time is a first step in looking at how your life is going. You can sort through what’s working well and what isn’t. I create a safe space for listening and offer support as you navigate through your life path.
