Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I am a seasoned psychodynamically trained psychotherapist. I work with individuals and couples on a short term or long term basis dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief or phase of life. I have many years experience working in Palliative and End of Life Care, as well as with individuals coping with cognitive issues such as dementia and with adult issues of trauma, substance abuse, recovery, HIV/AIDS and chronic illness. I have a strong specialty working within the LGBTQ community and with End of Life issues surrounding terminal illness, dying, grief and bereavement. I also offer social work care management/healthcare advocacy services for those who are trying to maneuver through the health care system. I am a compassionate, direct communicator and believe in empowering my clients to go deep, find their voice, and pave their own path toward healing. My passion lies in helping my clients find and trust their own innate strengths while also recognizing that healing is vulnerable and takes time. Contact me to arrange a consultation appointment.
