Welcome! For some, seeking help from a mental health professional can feel overwhelming, intimidating. Finding an understanding therapist who is best suited to your needs can be the first step towards a happier and more meaningful life. I work with adults and adolescents from a place of respect and compassion and believe that real transformation happens within the context of the therapeutic relationship. I value approaches that have been researched and proven to be effective, and tailor treatment to meet the needs of each individual. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual abuse, and gender dysphoria. I have been working within the gender diverse community since 2012. When I am not in private practice, I have provided training and education to healthcare providers and educators on how to increase support and improve services to members of transgender and gender diverse communities. Working to decrease symptoms of anxiety and trauma is both hopeful and rewarding. There are evidence based treatments that work decrease symptoms in a relatively short period of time: life really can get better. Reach out for a free initial consult call to discuss your needs and how we might work together to make a positive change.
