About

I enjoy working with individuals ages 14 through adulthood to address a variety of life’s issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, acute trauma, chronic trauma and complex trauma as well as issues such as perfectionism, guilt and shame, building assertiveness, setting boundaries, and deconstructing inaccurate core beliefs. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced one or more forms of trauma and assisting them with reducing the negative impacts of trauma-related symptoms on their daily life.

I believe that no true healing can take place until we feel safe, seen and heard. As a result, I make sure to spend an adequate amount of time getting to know each and every individual I work with so that they may feel at ease while tackling whatever issues they may present with.

I utilize a person-centered approach to help clients learn about themselves and their systems and often tailor my approach to individual needs and strengths. I am trained in Brainspotting which is a type of treatment modality designed to assist individuals in processing through thoughts, emotions, memories and even somatic symptoms that they may experience.
