About

Often we have so many judgments and intense feelings about food and our bodies that it can be difficult to see clearly. I offer support, guidance, and clarity. In addition to being a therapist I have 20 years of experience as an eating disorder dietitian. I work with individuals on a range of issues including struggles with food and body image, unlearning diet culture, embracing health at every size, and healing from eating disorders, anxiety and depression. My goal is to foster an atmosphere of comfort and safety, so we can explore your inner landscape with kindness and curiosity, so you can live with more ease, choice and joy.

I am passionate about supporting people in healing their relationships with food and with themselves, with a focus on self-acceptance and kindness. We will uncover where you are stuck, and help you connect with your most authentic self.I am a warm, engaged and down to earth therapist, dedicated to helping you grow in the ways that are most important to you.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques, including relational, somatic therapy (hakomi) and Buddhist psychology. I believe it is important to examine the external forces of oppression that shape our lives, including racism, sexism, transphobia and weight stigma as an essential part of the healing process.
