About

I am here to help my clients figure out how to build safety and security back into their lives after living through traumatic experiences. In my perspective, we are all living with trauma and this world was not built for us to heal from it. This makes it one of the most challenging things to be actively working towards healing from trauma and living your life within the confines of our systems. It is my goal to create a space where healing is not just possible, but probable. I am here to help people figure out how to create the life they want; together we will chart a course that feels nurturing, safe, and realistic.

I am fundamentally a person-centered counselor who likes to integrate mindfulness, psychoeducation, and creativity into my therapeutic approach. I am trained in the protocols of EMDR and Lifespan Integration. I specialize in working with gender/LGBTQIA+ issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, incest and childhood sexual abuse survivors.

I participated in the A New Paradigm of Care program where the focus was on decolonizing my clinical practice. I have also completed a Compassion Cultivation Training, which informs most of the work I do. I love to paint in my free time, listen to audiobooks, snuggle with my cat Jelly, see live music, and care for my tiny jungle of plants.
