About

We all experience pain--it’s normal. A lot can unsettle us as humans--feelings of anxiety and depression; career and identity development; making meaning of unpleasant thoughts, feelings, sensations, and experiences; and navigating the balance between chaos and control, freedom and responsibility, connectedness and differentiation, action and paralysis. It's no wonder life feels difficult so much of the time! I'm passionate about helping people become more grounded and accepting of themselves as they grapple with these hazards of being human.

I use an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach that values and attends to the unique needs of each individual, helping them build a meaningful and vital life one day at a time. I have experience helping individuals through all kinds of challenging life situations. (I also have a particular specialization in career counseling).

It's a real privilege to have others share their pain with me and I would feel honored to be alongside you as you navigate the things that are proving difficult for you. "Shared pain is lessened; shared joy, increased." Let's be human together.
