About

I am a warm caring psychotherapist with a direct approach with over 30 years of experience treating adults and adolescents. I empathize with how difficult it can be to speak with someone about very personal matters and I provide a caring and nurturing environment for patients. My specialties include eating problems, with an emphasis on binge eating, obesity, and anorexia. In addition depression and anxiety, grief counseling, women's issues, interpersonal relationships as well as transitions through divorce for individuals, parents and children.

In addition I help people with issues of low self esteem, Trauma and dealing with Life Transitions. My style is direct and goal oriented. The bulk of my practice is individual psychotherapy.

I believe that it is my responsibility to to help an individual through the path of change and growth which I do with an honest interactive approach combined with a sense of humor.
