Accepting 1-2 new clients (with additional openings for summer therapy for students who receive services at school) -If you have a school-age child, adolescent, or young adult who is finding it difficult to do things like maintain friendships, focus in school, communicate clearly, and manage strong emotions, I want to help. Together, we will learn how these challenges affect everyday life and develop targeted skills that promote healthy functioning and success. I also have specific experience working with people with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma, and in addition to teletherapy, I offer in-home, and outdoor therapy. As a clinical social worker and school counselor, I have an intimate understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to school and that period of life. My approach is grounded in attachment theory, and I believe that therapy at this point in life can lead to strong and healthy relationships throughout the lifespan. I have years of experience working with clients facing these challenges, and while it can take patience and hard work, growth is absolutely possible. I offer a free initial consultation for us to review the reason for your interest in therapy and see how my approach fits your need.
