Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Are you feeling sad, anxious or confused? Does your inner critic stop you from enjoying relationships, a career, family and friends? Are you experiencing fear or worry amid a life transition such as starting a new job, managing college, pregnancy or birth of a child. These feelings are very common and unfortunately can get in the way of living the life we want for ourselves. My therapy style offers a non-judgmental and compassionate approach utilizing various techniques including DBT, CBT, and Mindfulness. I strive to help clients' process life events and work towards developing a balanced and forgiving perspective that ultimately facilitates positive change. I believe therapy is most effective when both the client and therapist approach treatment with respect, willingness and motivation for change. Areas of interest include: prenatal, postpartum anxiety and/or depression, anxiety/panic disorders, OCD, life transitions including student/academic related concerns, careers concerns, dating/relationship concerns and family conflict.
