About

As a Board-Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist I specialize in conducting evaluations of thinking and memory abilities with adults with a wide variety of medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions. My specialties include the assessment of individuals with traumatic brain injuries, neurological conditions (i.e., dementia, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease), strokes, and a variety of other medical (i.e., cancer, chronic pain, heart disease), developmental (i.e., ADHD, learning disabilities) and psychological (i.e., depression, anxiety, substance abuse) conditions. I tailor each assessment to address the unique needs of the patient and referral question. These evaluations are often completed in 2-3 sessions and involve a clinical interview, the administration of tests of thinking and memory abilities, and a feedback session that focuses on sharing the results, diagnoses, and recommendations.

My focus is to help patients to understand the cause of thinking/memory difficulties or diagnoses, their impact on daily functioning, and how to maximize their strengths and compensate for their weaknesses. I provide education and generate individualized recommendations in order to help patients optimize their functioning and overall quality of life.
