Thank you for reading my counseling profile. Counseling is a personal and sacred experience in which finding the right counselor is important. I place a high premium on being accepting, understanding, and non-judgmental. My basic goal in counseling is to help explore the issues you are concerned about to gain insight and discover solutions. My objective is to be a professional companion to help you feel better and resolve issues. I look forward to the possibility of working with you and walking part of the road together! Rise and Renew is a professional supervision and counseling practice specializing in: Counselor Supervision, Mood Disorders, Couples/Marriage, Families, Mental Health, Adolescents, and Addictions. I counsel using an integrated approach of humanistic, cognitive, family systems, and narrative therapies. Christian counseling is provided upon request. I have a Doctorate Degree from Mercer University's program of Counselor Education and supervision, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. My thesis research established a consensus definition of self-love. I am also an Assistant Professor at Richmont Graduate University.
