Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
During our lives, we can find ourselves in painful, often repetitive situations without understanding why. I provide a safe, thoughtful space in order to help expand both your understanding of problems, and your potential for change. I believe that we all have the talents, strengths and skills necessary to make meaningful changes in our lives, and I employ extensive therapeutic experience, professional knowledge, empathic curiosity, and playfulness in the treatment of individuals ages 11 and older, couples, and families. I look forward to helping you identify and achieve your life goals. I specialize in the needs of adolescents and young adults, and focus on helping them establish an authentic and rewarding experience of themselves in their relationships with others and their work. I am also fluent in Spanish and sensitive to the issues faced by Latino persons adjusting to life in the U.S. I use a combination of contemporary psychodynamic and family therapy perspectives as part of a collaborative, relationship-based process with you. If you are a child's caregiver, please be assured that I value your insight and inclusion in the treatment process.
