About
As someone with a social work background, I'm focused on person first therapy. This means that you are the one who leads me through your own goals and aspirations for therapy, and I'm here to make your therapy goals into reality. We will work together to try and find answers and solutions to what you find as problems in your life. I personally like to give solution focused tasks based on you, but am also a proponent for mindfulness and talking out solutions together. I'm a trauma informed social worker and have worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ population, and am well versed with intersectionality (the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender) I am currently comfortable working with ages 10 and up. As an LMSW who is apart of the LGBTQ community, I want to raise others up and advocate for those who may not be able to themselves. Its important to me that I am putting your goals for success first.
