About

I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual psychotherapy for adults (18 and older). I treat people with a variety of presenting complaints including interpersonal issues, identity concerns, self-esteem issues, stressful life transitions, anxiety, low mood, and substance use concerns.

Over the years I have worked in various settings, including medical, community-based mental health, residential substance abuse, and now private practice. My work with patients focuses on relationships and relationship patterns, understanding and altering coping strategies, and exploring how one’s past, present, and future have personal meaning.

I believe in providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment and creating a therapeutic alliance where we can work together to explore and change patterns that are producing distress and resulting in maladaptive coping strategies.
