About

"I believe that everything we want in life takes time such as: opportunities, dreams, relationships, and rising above difficult situations. Giving yourself the time you need to overcome challenges is essential to your growth. I strive to provide a safe place to talk where individuals can begin the personal growth process in an environment that is welcoming, relaxing, and sensitive to cultural and language needs."

I worked at the Connecticut Public Defender Services for 20 years as a social worker. I understands the systems and the stress related to court involvement. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of issues (such as trauma, substance abuse, behavioral issues, depression, anger, and other social problems).

I am bicultural and bilingual (Spanish & English). My practice focuses on working with adolescent girls and adult women.
