About

Are you struggling with the pressures of life? Do you have strong, over whelming emotions that seem to come from out of nowhere? Do you feel angry, or irritable, most of the time and don’t know why? Perhaps you don’t feel anything at all, and wish there was more to life than what you are experiencing now. Perhaps you already have a mental health diagnosis or another diagnosis of infertility or cancer or are struggling with a chronic illness. Are you part of the military, or a military family member, and are struggling with all that comes with that role including traumatic experiences, secondary trauma, and stress from many moves?

No matter what it is, my lens is trauma based, but cognitive-behavioral therapy is an important tool. I use TF-CBT, Sand Tray, talk therapy, play therapy and EMDR to help clients of any age process and reduce emotional distress. The Nurtured Heart Approach is my go to strategy for parents struggling with children with ADHD and other intense behaviors.

Sometimes we need support while we look introspectively and need help unraveling what seems like a tangled ball of emotional yarn. By ourselves we don't know which thread to pull. I walk along side you on your journey of discovery, growth and healing; supporting you emotionally; encouraging you; helping you to excavate your own hidden gems of wisdom.
