Life can be challenging sometimes. In my work, I try to provide a safe space where those challenges can be explored and new possibilities can be discovered. I work collaboratively to help you re-discover your strengths and use these to deal more effectively with your struggles. I have been working with individuals, couples, families and groups for 15-plus years. I have worked with a variety of problems and populations including, but not limited to: relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, student coaching (individually and in group), (foreign) students, immigrants, acculturation problems. I specialize in working with adults with ADHD (and their partners). ADHD leads to many challenges for the individual and their environment. But there are positive aspects as well! We can work on building skills, improving relationships, self-esteem, lowering anxiety and mood swings, or any other issue that you would like to address. I have a strong interest in and enjoy working with foreigners and expatriates. Students finding their way in a foreign country. People who are living, and maybe raising a family, in a culture that is not their own. Couples and families from different cultures, trying to find their own unique way of living together.
