About

My name is Imran Kirkland El and I’ve been an advocate in the field for over 15 years. I’m determined to hold a decolonized healing space for individuals and communities who are seeking support as they navigate the complexities of their inner world and external experiences. My passion is to serve QTBIPOC individuals and families facing unique challenges related to identity, discrimination, and systemic oppression. I work with adolescents, adults and families. The focus of therapy will include: healing from past traumas, cultivating Self-Love, building resilience, skills training and establishing a sense of community.

In my practice, I take a collaborative and holistic approach. My primary modality is EMDR and incorporate elements of DBT, IFS, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe in the power of self-compassion, empowerment, and resilience, and I work alongside my clients to help them cultivate these qualities within themselves.

If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-exploration and healing in a safe and affirming space, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation. Together, we can work towards creating a life that feels more aligned with your true Self. You deserve to be seen, heard, and supported, and I am here to help you every step of the way.
