Typically, this involves CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) where we focus on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will give you gentle but honest feedback when I think it will be helpful. At the same time, I believe in the healing properties of connecting and the simple but curious power of being listened to, so there is always space in therapy for unstructured discourse. I believe sharing experiences & stories can be powerful healing, so when appropriate, I don't shy away from talking about similar thoughts & feelings I have experienced.
