When you’re suffering from anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns it can be difficult to get out of bed, let alone build the life of your dreams. To others, you may appear lazy, or without motivation when in truth you have goals and dreams, but your mental health keeps you from reaching for them. You want to improve your mental health so you can get out of this rut and enjoy the life you’re meant to live. Hunter Ralston received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of Saint Joseph. Hunter treats substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression using Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Hunter is passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health treatment because a diagnosis does not define a person. Only you get to decide who you are. Hunter uses a person-centered approach that involves empathetic listening so she can help you develop the skills and strategies you need to grow as an individual and step into your power.
