Together, we'll explore your history and identify symptoms, discuss what’s helped and what hasn't, what is making it worse, and then go over a few strategies that can make things better. I most often utilize Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Polyvagal Theory though occasionally use other Evidence Based Practices (including Seeking Safety, CBT and EMDR). They all have something to offer: my priority is to find out what is going to help you. What should a person who is considering my services expect in the way of results? "Okayness within," ease, calm and enhanced creativity are the kind of results that I help folks achieve. Why? Because they’re reliable, lead to improved functioning, and allow you to be you without constant fear, sadness, tension or despair.
