About

Non-judgment and compassion are central to my professional belief system, as well as my personal one. I focus on creating a safe and trusting environment within the therapy room so if just for an hour, a client can take off their armor and feel truly seen and understood. While I am an eclectic therapist, I mostly utilize Art Therapy and a Person-Centered approach to counseling which focuses on empathy, exploring one's voice through creativity, and a recognition of each client’s ability for growth and self-actualization.

Being a queer-identified provider, I primarily work with queer, trans, and non-binary clients. A major theme I notice in my work is supporting clients in finding their most authentic selves. I often work with trauma and identity, and the unique challenges and blocks that develop when trying to reconnect or identify a new sense of self.

Art Therapy facilitates the ability to explore insight into oneself in ways that are often not able to be explored or processed by talking alone. There is no wrong way to make art in therapy, and as an Art Therapist I will help facilitate understanding and growth with you through the process. Let's explore your journey together.
