I have a very warm approach to my patients and believe it is very important to have a good "match" between therapist and patient. I specialize in treating Anxiety disorders as well as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and OC spectrum disorders including Trichitillomania, Excoriation Disorder, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. My theoretical orientation includes Cognitive-Behavioral, Exposure and Response Prevention as well as Acceptance and Commitment therapy. I also believe the therapeutic relationship is crucial to the healing process. Further, I am Board Certified in Clinical Psychology which indicates a standard of practice appreciably higher than that of state licensure. I am a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. I am also a graduate of the BTTI Institute through the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation and have completed the Virtual Professional Training Institute training for treatment of Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors through the Trichitillomania Learning Center.
