I began working in Mental Health 32 years ago in Chicago and I found my calling. I provide counseling and support to a variety of individuals. I work with individuals who live with schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, bipolar, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma and grief. Clients want to be heard, to be validated that their experiences are real, their experiences are hard and painful. With support and a non judgmental environment , clients can learn ways in which to manage their symptoms, reduce them and recover. I am a strength based partnership counselor. I utilize tools from various styles of therapy including Strength Based, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioral, to create an individualized plan for each client. I offer an open, non judgmental, safe environment for the needed work on Mental Health. Taking the step to begin therapy is a big one and it can be scary. You will find a place of safety and no judgement to do your work. We will identify and work with your strengths to set a base for growth and healing.
