My practice is focused on helping individuals struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and infertility issues. I was trained from a psychodynamic perspective, which I integrate with other techniques and orientations and consider myself very relational in my approach. In other words, I view current problems as having roots in past events and patterns, but believe change is achieved through collaboration and active participation in the present moment. Although I am a generalist, I have specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders and recognize the complex nature of recovery. My goal is to help individuals discover their own path to recovery using reserch-supported methods. I understand that starting a therapeutic relationship can be a big step, and I encourage you to find a therapist that you feel is a good fit. I would be glad to speak with you and answer any questions you may have.
