About

My passions include working with mid to late life adults who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences. Traumatic events and early childhood attachment wounds impact our lives psychologically, emotionally, and physically and often lead to substance use, dissociation, disordered eating/negative body image, chronic anxiety, depression, and other life challenges. I am also keenly aware of the personal impact of systemic oppression and work to support people who are in marginalized groups while also continuing my own education.

Compassion, collaboration, and honesty are the foundations of my practice. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a primary therapeutic modality, though Ego State Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Intuitive Eating (IE) may be incorporated to help you create a life with more contentment.

Often, our challenges don’t fit into a neat and tidy box, because people are complex. If the services listed don’t match your current needs, please contact me and we can explore options. You are also welcome to a free 15-minute consultation during which we can see if a collaboration may be helpful to you.
