About

Feeling kind of blah? More anxious than usual? Are you experiencing a life transition due chronic or terminal illness, caregiving, partner separation, parenthood, college or work? If you’re feeling exhausted, foggy, forgetful, sad, anxious, disconnected, indecisive and “stuck”, you are experiencing some of the most common and difficult symptoms associated with adjustment. Imagine feeling more energized, relieved, small sparks of excitement. Feeling more connected to yourself and what/who is important. Small steps to rewiring your thoughts and how we approach situations can create lasting change.

Hi I’m Heather, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 9 years of experience specializing in anxiety, caregiver support, chronic illness, separations, and work/school stress. With the help of some humor and sarcasm, I support individuals as they process past experiences and explore new ways to incorporate peace and balance into their lives.

In sessions you will experience a warm, empathic, nonjudgmental space where you can be you, just as you are. Together we will become more comfortable embracing the coexistence of sadness, joy, grief and hope. We will work towards restructuring negative thought patterns, images and experiences to better manage symptoms and recreate meaningful days ahead.
