About

Eating disorders can be all encompassing and can start to take over so many different aspects of your life. It becomes hard to do anything without hearing the eating disorder’s disapproving voice in your head making comments about your food intake, your body, and most painfully, who you are as a person. This voice is not you. We can work together to help you fight back and regain your identity. You do not need to have an eating disorder for us to work together, I also work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, life transitions, trauma, relationships, and identity.

I use a narrative therapeutic lens to explore life experiences that have contributed to varying different issues and work together with you to help identify and challenge patterns that are no longer serving you. I also implement Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for practical coping skills to use in the day to day.

Sessions with me will be intentionally adjusted to your individual needs with a consistency of acceptance, validation, and cultural sensitivity as well as an anti-diet and HAES approach. I am a big believer that we are always growing and learning more about ourselves. Let’s begin the exploration process together to help you live the life you want to live.
