About

I work with adults 22 and older looking for growth and healing. I especially enjoy working with emerging adults as they navigate life cycle transitions (graduating college/relationships/navigating friendships), therapists in training, and people wanting to unlearn toxic narratives. I specialize in anxiety, depression, attachment and trauma. I also work with couples navigating ways to communicate and understand each other in healthier ways and how to promote healthier relationships in general. Also as a person who identifies as biracial, I enjoy work around identity exploration and privilege and oppression. Couples work is OON.

I am a relationship oriented therapist and I explore all the systems in your life. I take a warm, collaborative and directive approach utilizing humor, psychoeducation and honesty. I am direct but flexible, and you get to decide how sessions look. I show up as my most authentic self and ask that you do same. I use DBT, CBT, Attachment and Gottman models.

Whether this is your first time in counseling or you’ve been going for many years, I will help you process and understand what is happening and offer feedback and ideas to help you navigate stressors more effectively. I invite you to be curious about your life and build new perspectives to look at different systems you are a part of.
