Dialectical Behavior Therapy helps patients develop a proactive approach to solving their problems. DBT is a skills-based therapy designed by Marsha Linehan that looks at ways to develop mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT is helpful in treating personality disorders, anxiety, trauma and so much more!
