My clients typically find themselves stuck in transition, wanting to get to know themselves more deeply and ready to explore what is coming next on their horizon. I enjoy working with people who may be seeking self-reflection and a brave space where they can reconnect with their personal story and 'spark' for guidance on their journey. I also offer play therapy for children ages 3-10. Play therapy sessions provide an opportunity for kiddos to engage in and practice self-regulation skills, creative problem-solving, improved self-esteem, as well as developing healthy coping habits. I am guided by relational-cultural theory which believes that we grow through and towards connection with people in our lives. Part of my role as a therapist is to create a safe space where my clients can learn and practice how to do just that - engage in a relationship characterized by mutual empathy, respect, and influence. Life is full of the unexpected - unexpected joys, unforeseen sorrows. As humans, we typically do a good job navigating those moments of ease and happiness, but can stumble and lose our way when the road is a little tougher than we planned. If this describes the season of life you are currently in, please reach out. I'd love to speak with you today.
