How do you feel right now? What do you need? What do you want? Change in our lives can only come from a better understanding of who we really are. Validation of past experiences, wounds and traumas. Through exploration, comes a willingness to work to change. Not who you are, but how you are; in relationships, at work, with your family and with yourself. Reducing anxiety, feeling less depressed, better able to deal with overwhelming emotions. Contentment. Using an eclectic approach rooted in CBT and DBT, we can work together to learn and implement skills to stop the unhealthy pattern in our relationships, our negative thought processes, the harmful ways that we try to persist during times of distress, and useful coping techniques to decrease our anxiety responses to stimuli. Therapy is a collaborative approach. You care about your success and I care about your success, a great deal. I want you to feel heard, comfortable, not judged. But I am also here to challenge you at times. Through a phone call/email, we can begin the process, schedule an intake and start our work together.
