Hello, welcome to therapy! My name is Haley Land, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the Los Angeles area. I utilize a client-centered approach with a focus on facilitating a meaningful therapeutic experience! My focus areas of practice are anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and gender health. Some of the theoretical approaches I utilize are theories of systems, person in the environment, cognitive behavior, and the humanistic approach. Due to the nature of therapy being personal, I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment for my clients, so they feel an unconditional positive regard. I follow a feedback-informed care model to ensure I am creating a respectful, productive, and meaningful environment. My approach to goal setting is to work collaboratively with my patients to identify treatment priorities. I assess for what my patients are experiencing and what they want to either increase or decrease. Together we can create specific goals with the understanding that small progress is still progress!
