I work with children, adolescents, and adults to create a collaborative space, where my patients feel safe to explore a range of topics. I have a particular interest in addressing feelings of anxiety, depression, and disconnect, and together we will explore how these feelings may impact broader life milestones, such as transitions in school and/or vocation, changes in relationships, and geographic re- location (immigration, adoption, or otherwise). I always consider how socio-political context affects your development and experience, and how these contexts intersect with the multifaceted aspects of one's identity. I will listen carefully to how you convey to me your experiences, noting important moments in your history and how they've shaped you. In our work we will aim for you to cultivate more self-efficacy in whatever you may be facing now, which ultimately may help you evolve new ways of relating to yourself or other important aspects of your life. I am experienced in therapy across the lifespan, and have a balanced caseload of children, adolescents, and adults. I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychological testing from Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School, where I currently supervise. Even if you are ambivalent about therapy I hope you reach out to talk.
