Gregory S. Ferriss, MS, MDiv, earned his master’s degree in clinical mental health from Winona State University. Greg is taking new clients both in person or online. He sees a variety of patients from pre-teen to couples to college students to older adults. Working primarily in cognitive behavioral therapy, Greg believes a warm, supportive environment is key to helping a client talk about the type of struggles most people face but rarely discuss. For Greg, psychotherapy should feel like a conversation with a good friend but uses proven techniques to battle depression, anxiety or many other problems that people face regularly. Greg is currently working towards his licensure in Minnesota. In his previous career as a pastoral minister. Greg earned a Master of Divinity from Harvard University and a Bachelor from Albright College. As a minister, Greg helped youth and adults battling life difficulties, facing challenges in their faith, and those who were hurt by religious institutions. Greg has been married for 16 years. Greg and his wife moved to the area in 2008 and created a large circle of friends over the years. In his free time, Greg enjoys cooking, playing music (guitar, banjo, and a few others) and playing with his two dogs.
