About

It's a pleasure to have the opportunity to support the wellbeing of teens and families, adult men, and couples. My specialties as a psychologist include anxiety, men's health, trauma, family of origin, Autism, ADHD, and self-esteem. My focus with teens is often on tackling academic, athletic, or relational stressors through understanding how to navigate thoughts and feelings. With couples, I enjoy the process of enhancing closeness through empathic, emotion-focused communication. I'm also passionate about supporting adult men in developing tools to manage stress and anxiety.

I bring 8 years of experience using evidence-based modalities effective in supporting couples, individuals, and families. I have sought out specialized training mindfulness-based therapies including ACT, somatic therapy, CBT, and EFT. I also serve the community as a yoga teacher and have published research on a mindfulness-based intervention for athletes.

It's all too easy to feel overwhelmed these days by the number of stressors at home and around the world. With the support of a person-centered therapist who is direct, you can prevent these stressors from causing chronic stress. Getting started is simple: Just call or email to schedule your free 15-minute, no-obligation consultation today.
