I enjoy working with a variety of clients however, I especially enjoy working with young adults. I feel this population is misunderstood with challenges they face today. The majority of my experience has been in Crisis Intervention and Trauma. I have worked detention centers for juveniles and adults. I now work in an integrated medical facility. I served my community by providing over 10 years of Probono therapy for individuals who were uninsured, in crisis or financially unable to pay for therapy. I'm a solution focused therapist and believe in empowering my clients to making positive changes in their life. I take a holistic approach and believe trauma settles in our body and can cause our central nervous system to be activated which can cause the fight flight or freeze response.
