About

I love to see each partner being interested in applying new knowledge in order to stop destructive patterns that are so hurtful to each other. it is so gratifying in therapy to improve the way you speak to each other and listen to each other. Getting to know each others ‘ core values and deeply held principles is exciting and builds a secure foundation .Speak from your heart about what is most important to you..If you have tried couples’ therapy and just kept doing the same old things don’t give up. Together we can all do our best to help change those old and unhappy patterns. My sessions are 90 minutes each

Sometimes there are couples in a situation where one person wants to stay and the other person might want to leave. This situation is best served by Discernment Counseling . This usually requires 5 sessions after which a decision is made to take one of three paths. 1) do nothing just stay the same2) end relationship 3) couples’ therapy for repair.

I typically meet individually with each person one time to learn their life story and their perspective. Then I meet with both partners and we decide what we should do from there. Please feel free to email me. Then I can get back to you and we can see about working together.
