About

I have been in practice for 30 years as a clinical psychologist. I provide a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I use mindfulness techniques for therapy in addition to a compassionate presence. These approaches include mindfulness to resolving situational depression, teaching clients to overcome overwhelming emotional situations, relaxation techniques to quiet your mind and body, and therapy to assist each client to function each day with calmness and clarity. I am a very proactive therapist, allowing individuals to explore their own thoughts, feelings, behavior patterns, and develop an action plan that best suits their personal growth.

There are many changes in todays world, through academics, divorce, job change, and daily stressors which create rippling effects on individuals and families. Therapy can provide the framework to work through these "rough spots" in life. Working together in counseling, we can create tools for wellness and better communication.

One of my strengths is the ability to create a confidential and nonjudgemental space for people to gain insights into why they think and behave the way they do. The path of mindful living leads to healing, joy, and peace.
