Most of my work will focus on helping you manage life stressors, whether you are feeling depressed, anxious, or have experienced trauma and/or grief. We'll aim to understand the roots of your problems and make healthier and more conscious choices moving forward. Sometimes I will challenge your thoughts, and at other times, we'll slow down together to reflect, process, and simply feel the emotions to gain acceptance of the things you cannot control. We can also utilize your spiritual belief (whatever it may be) to help deal with these challenges. I use strengths-based, mindfulness-based, psychoeducation, CBT, client-centered, IFS, and hypnotherapy in my practice. This combination of approaches allows me to help you develop healthy coping skills, self-discovery, awakening, and use the gift of the present moment to heal. If you permit, I can incorporate reiki as well (website: sawareness.com) I value meeting you where you are with your life challenges. I believe that you have innate strengths and we can use them as tools to get you through your struggles. My work is to help you create awareness of these strengths and guide you in using these as tools to improve your quality of life.
