About

Frustrated? Unhappy? Anxious? In emotional pain? Want some validation, insight, and change? I believe that everyone is the expert of their own experience; you have lived your life longer than I have known you. With encouragement, I often use the metaphor of being a flashlight in a dark cave, shedding light on different things, however, you, as the client are in the driver's seat; I am in the passenger seat, as a co-driver. Together, we will explore your personal meanings and experiences while making larger connections to your goals. I invite you to our journey together in creating new meaning.

I offer psychotherapy & a relational view regarding anxiety, grief/loss, body image/self esteem/ weight issues, intimacy problems, divorce, pre-marital, and culture (& interracial/intercultural/interfaith). I also have experience working with couple related issues as well. Please also check out my website for further information ("services" tab).

Often times, we as human beings make the best choice that we think we have based on our current coping and what we learned while growing up. Or, there is a desire to do something else, but not know what. Through therapeutic work and insight, change occurs. With a validating and encouraging approach, we can figure this out together.
