I believe it’s important to find the right therapist to assist you in your journey. This process can be arduous and can deter people from pursuing counseling. A key part of my clinical practice is to build rapport with my clients to assist them with feeling comfortable sharing difficult topics and issues. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most influential factors in assisting individuals to be successful in therapy and reach their goals. I have 5 years of experience as a clinician. In addition to excellent rapport building skills, I utilize a combination of several therapeutic orientations including motivational interviewing, strengths-based, person-centered, CBT, DBT, trauma-focused, somatic-based, and mindfulness-based techniques. I like to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment, which encourages my clients to move towards positive transformations without fear or apprehension.
