About

Navigating life and taking the time to put yourself first can often feel like a battle. Congratulations on taking the first steps towards working on a better version of you. My goal is to work collaboratively with you while creating a safe, respectful, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I have over 13 years of experience in working with adults, children and families and over 20 years of experience serving the Hartford community. I was born and raised in Hartford; therefore, I understand the common, but also unique challenges and stressors of working, living, and growing up in an urban environment.

My background has influenced my therapeutic approach as I believe in being strength based, motivational, encouraging, and straight forward. My experiences stem from work with both families and individuals that experience challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, environmental, relationship, and family stressors.

I believe practicing self care of yourself and your mental well-being is a journey and not a destination. Together we will work on the goals that you identify whether it is to develop better coping skills, breaking cycles, increasing your self esteem or realizing your resilience. I am here to help and support you on your journey one step at a time.
