About

I believe that each person has an innate ability to heal from trauma and pain. Events from the past can impact our mind and body in the present--sometimes getting in the way of current relationships and goals. I offer a safe space to tap into transformative healing, self-exploration, and personal growth. My clients bring an array of issues to therapy including trauma, addiction, sexual difficulties, relationship challenges, self-injury, and dissociation. I work collaboratively, recognizing that each client brings their own unique strengths to the work.

I served as the Clinical Director of the DC Rape Crisis Center prior to full time private practice. I am certified in both EMDR and Brainspotting --brain based therapies which access the parts of the nervous system most impacted by trauma. These therapies offer a path into both the story of your experience and the wisdom needed to heal.

I use an anti-oppressive lens and pay particular attention to how your various identities intersect and affect your daily life in relation to race, class, sex, gender identity, sexuality, national origin etc. Clients tell me I provide a non-judgmental, affirming, compassionate space to face challenges and thrive.
