Genevieve has been in practice as a counselor since 2010 after graduating from Regis University with a Master's Degree in Counseling/ Psychology. You'll learn how to overcome unhelpful thought and behavior patterns so you can better understand yourself, your current struggles, and past traumas, and move toward more fulfillment in life. Genevieve can help individuals, couples and caregivers experiencing transition, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. She utilizes person-centered approaches, drawing on systems theory to treat the whole person, not just a problem. She draws from a myriad of therapeutic techniques to support her clients, including Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
