About

Progressive, feminist, creative and kind... With decades of experience in Women's Issues, I offer Integrative Psychotherapy and Coaching for all. I graduated from the Columbia University School of Social Work (1987) and have rich practice experience in NYC, Providence, & Santa Fe. The work is about what your goals for YOU are, and is collaborative and empowering. Focusing on the idea that there is always meaning to be found in struggle, we work to help you find peace with your past, love and respect for yourself in the present, and take energized action on behalf of your future.

Clients have said I'm engaged, informed, and "easy going but with a strong backbone." I use both eastern and western techniques with a focus on mindfulness, narrative, creativity, somatics, and taking next best steps for you. I will help you set boundaries, learn assertive communication skills, heal from shame and regret, and stand proud in who you are.

This is a place of non-judgment to talk about your experiences (whatever they are), be deeply heard, and responded to from a seasoned (but modern) perspective. There is no expectation here as to how you are "supposed" to manage this life experience. See Website: www.geenatommasilcsw.com for Testimonials.
