I specialize with adults young and old to help them see how the internal narrative of their life affects how they live today. I am most interested in getting to know each client as an individual, not a “problem” to be fixed. I hold an understanding that people make sense of their world in different ways, and I am sensitive to finding ways to help them to rediscover the healthy parts of themselves that they may have forgotten. I'm an all inclusive therapist and an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. I play an active, yet supportive, role in the therapy room because I am truly invested in your personal growth. I work from a narrative approach and person-centered and/or CBT theory. I define our relationship as collaborative team and we will come up with the treatment plan together. I provide comfort in sitting with clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, day-to-day and acute stress, grief and loss issues, and individuals experiencing LGBTQIA adversity looking for culturally-affirming counseling. Through gentle counsel I help clients become healthier and ready to face challenges in the world and heal inner discomfort/distress.
