About

I have a lot of experience as a therapist and you have a lot of experience at being you. Let's put our heads together and figure things out. My approach is insight-oriented and based on psychodynamic theory. We can work well together if you're curious about yourself and willing to engage that curiosity with me in understanding how you came to be who you are, where you are now and how you can get to where you want to be.

My main areas of expertise are college students and women of all ages. I served as the director of counseling at a busy college counseling center for twelve years, where I developed a deep empathy and understanding of the unique challenges college students face. Women facing life transitions have also been a focus in my work through the years.

Choosing a therapist can be a daunting process. I'm happy to talk by email or phone to answer any questions and I offer a free brief telephone consultation to see if we're a good fit. Take a look at my website for more information about me and my approach. I hope I can help you gain a better understanding of yourself and make the changes you seek.
